This film is based on the true story of California serial killer William Bonin. For years, William Bonin (Scott Leet) drove on the California road in search of his next victim, and discarded beaten, sexually assaulted, and mutilated bodies can be seen on the side of the highway. The seemingly scheming murderer can always easily evade the pursuit of the police, making it impossible for the police to figure out his identity. But when the police discover the identity of the killer, things get even trickier: how many people have been killed?
